Napper by Rottenberg was a stunning, intimate stay with friendly staff and a quirky interior. It’s far from the tourist hotspot, so you have to get a taxi from A to B, but it was a great way to get an authentic feel for Cuba.

You’ll find that booking hotels for Cuba may be slightly challenging, as some booking sites like Booking.com do not show any results. Instead, use Expedia or TripAdvisor to book accomodation in Cuba. Alternatively, you may be more comfortable doing a guided tour of Cuba, where hotels are already included.
