And while Bali can certainly offer luxury, you don’t necessarily need a luxury budget to experience it. From stylish boutique hotels and private villas to beautiful 4- and 5-star resorts, there are plenty of ways to enjoy a little bit of boujee Bali without spending a fortune if you look hard enough.

During my one-month solo trip to Bali, travelling around the island in January and February, I stayed in numerous fancy hotels and villas, and here’s the best part: I paid under £65 per night for these beautiful, luxury accommodations!

CAPUNG ASRI ECO-LUXURY RESORT

Area: Bedahulu (Ubud)

Capung Asri Eco Luxury Resort takes the number one spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list, and honestly, it deserves it. This beautiful 4-star resort is located in Bedahulu, Ubud, around an hour from Denpasar Airport, and is surrounded by lush Balinese countryside.

The views, quality, atmosphere, price and overall experience completely blew me away. In fact, not only is it my number one hotel in Bali, it’s my favourite hotel I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world across 44 countries! Now that’s saying something!

It’s suitable for all kinds of travellers, whether you’re exploring solo, as a couple, with family, or on a mum-and-daughter trip like I was when we experienced this stunning villa together.

The Villa

Upon arrival at Capung Asri Eco Luxury Resort, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff on the main road who will assist you with your luggage to the somewhat secluded villa. There are just three villas on-site, which makes this stay feel private with attentive care from the staff. All the villas are themed around chakras. I stayed in an Amethyst Villa decorated in purple, white, and black, which was so lush!

The 200-square-meter villas feature a large bed, a sofa, a bath, a shower, sun loungers, a private infinity pool, a meditation space, and gorgeous forest views. The room rate includes a delicious à la carte breakfast, including English breakfasts, pancakes, and traditional Balinese breakfasts with fruit.

The hotel doesn’t offer lunch or dinner; however, you can order food from the popular GRAB app, the Indonesian version of Uber Eats. I didn’t find the lack of an on-site restaurant a huge issue, as GRAB is incredibly convenient in Bali, plus there’s a mini supermarket a few minutes from Capung Asri Eco Luxury Resort.

Good To Know Before You Book:

Location & Transport: Capung Asri is located in Bedahulu, just outside Ubud, so you’re surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful Balinese countryside. The secluded setting is a huge part of its charm, but it does mean you’ll need transport options to explore Ubud and the surrounding areas. You can hire a scooter if you’re confident; otherwise, the GRAB app can be used to order both food and transport easily.

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available at the resort and is pretty good, so you can stay connected throughout your stay. It was important for me to have wi-fi to work from my laptop, and it delivered.

Air Conditioning: You’ll be pleased to know the villas have air conditioning, which you’ll appreciate in Bali’s warm, humid climate. Air-con and a private pool? What a win!

Villa Accessibility: Because Capung Asri is built into its natural surroundings, there are steps and uneven areas around the property, so it’s not easily accessible. Staff are there to help you with your luggage when you arrive, which I found really helpful as it’s about a five-minute walk from the main road.

Check-in Time & Rates: Check-in is from 3 pm. However, the villa may accommodate earlier check-in times upon advance request and subject to room availability. My Verdict

10/10. This is my favourite hotel ever! Honestly, it completely blew me away. The huge, spacious villa, the private infinity pool, waking up to the jungle views, the peaceful surroundings, and genuinely lovely service made the whole experience feel far more luxurious than the price tag suggested.

For £58.29 per night, I felt like I had found an absolute gem. It’s not a place I’d choose if I wanted to walk straight out of my hotel into the centre of Ubud, but if you’re looking for privacy, peace, and a recharge with beautiful views and a luxury vibe, I’d struggle not to recommend it. Would I stay again? Absolutely. In a heartbeat.

THE WINA VILLA CANGGU

Area: Canggu

The Wina Villa Canggu takes the number two spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list. This 4-star villa caught my eye for its incredible amount of space, private pool, and most importantly, the price. Located in Canggu, one of Bali’s most popular areas, it’s surrounded by restaurants and beach bars, and has a great vibe.

This villa is particularly well-suited to couples, friends, and solo travellers, especially if you prefer your own space to a traditional hotel room. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by the friendly staff, I knew I was in for a treat.

The Villa

When my villa doors opened at The Wina Villa Canggu, I literally said wow. My villa had ample space and a private upstairs sun lounge. The property offers one- and two-bedroom villas starting from 120 square metres (mine was a two-bedroom all for myself), so I was definitely impressed.

I stayed in a beautifully renovated villa where the bedroom opened through doors onto a striking semi-open bathroom. It had a huge bathtub, a centrally located sink, and a separate shower, which really gave the space a luxurious feel.

The villa also had a separate large living area with sofas, tables and a TV, as well as its own kitchen. But the best part was the centre of the private villa with its private swimming pool and sunbeds. And it didn’t stop there; upstairs was the second bedroom and another open space perfect for sunbathing and hanging out. This villa just kept on delivering!

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: The Wina Villa Canggu is located in Canggu, one of Bali’s most popular hotspots, so you’re in a much livelier area. This is a great area to stay if you prefer an active location with beach bars, restaurants, and plenty to do nearby. It is pretty touristy, so leave plenty of time for travelling as the traffic jams can be pretty bad. The GRAB app is good for booking transport.

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available at the resort and is pretty good, so you can stay connected throughout your stay. I needed the Wi-Fi to work on my laptop, and I rarely had any issues connecting.

Air Conditioning: The Wina Villas do have air conditioning, which comes in handy as the sun beats down. But who really needs air-con when you have a private cool pool to jump straight into?

Villa Accessibility: The villa is spread over multiple levels, with an upstairs area, so there are stairs to navigate; however, the one-bedroom villas may not have stairs. I’d keep this in mind if you have limited mobility or would prefer a completely single-level property.

My Verdict

10/10. This is a seriously impressive villa, and you get so much for your money. It’s an unreal stay, no doubt about that, with its private pool, upstairs sun lounge space, separate living room space, and stunning semi-open bathroom; nothing to complain about here, it’s pretty much your own private luxury villa.

For £62.79, you couldn’t get a space like this anywhere else. I felt like I truly got a bargain. It’s centrally located, just a five-minute walk from the main town, with lots of shops and cool food spots to choose from. This is why it was an easy choice for number two on my list. So, would I stay again? Absolutely!

DANU VILLAS BALI

Area: Kerobokan (Near Seminyak)

Danu Villas Bali takes the number three spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list. This newly built 4-star boutique villa caught my eye for its quirky design, beautiful private pool, and the fact that they made this compact space feel incredibly luxurious, which is something special.

Located in Keobokan, near Seminyak, it’s a great option if you want somewhere more peaceful while still being within easy reach of one of Bali’s liveliest areas.

This villa is particularly suited to couples, solo travellers and remote workers. When I arrived, the friendly staff welcomed me with a refreshing drink before showing me around the villa, and I immediately fell in love with the cute, unique space.

The Villa

The 66-square-metre open-roof boutique villa is compact but cleverly designed, with everything you need for a comfortable and unforgettable stay at Danu Villas Bali. Inside you’ll find a kitchen, sofa, bedroom and shower, while the private in-villa pool is the real star of the show.

One of my favourite features was the way the pool could be accessed directly from both the bedroom and the bathroom, creating a cool indoor-outdoor feel. The open roof also gives the villa a quirky, tropical atmosphere that makes it feel completely different from a standard hotel room.

Breakfast isn’t included in the standard room rate, but you can add breakfast for an additional fee. However, you’re close to plenty of restaurants and cafes, and the GRAB app is also available for ordering food.

It’s not the biggest villa on my list, but the layout makes really good use of the space, and honestly, I absolutely loved this cute little villa; it deserves all the credit and attention!

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Danu Villas is located in Kerobokan, close to Seminyak. This gives you a quieter base while keeping you within easy reach of Seminyak’s restaurants, shops and nightlife. GRAB is a convenient option for getting around, while a scooter gives you more freedom to explore if you’re comfortable.

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available, making the villa suitable for remote workers and anyone who needs to stay connected while travelling. The free Wi-Fi is good, too.

Air Conditioning: The cute villas all come with air-con and a private pool to help keep you cool in Bali’s warm, humid climate.

Villa Accessibility: Danu Villas is easy to reach, as it’s on a main road. There’s not much walking inside, just the villas. The villas have an open-plan design, so I’d recommend checking the property’s current accessibility arrangements directly if you have specific mobility requirements.

Check-in Time & Rates: Check-in time is from 12 pm. Room rates vary by date and availability, but I bagged this gem for £57.77 per night! And considering you’re getting a private villa, private pool, and a really unique open-roof design, I thought it was a fantastic price for Bali. Check prices for Danu Villas.

My Verdict

9.5/10. It’s cute, quirky and seriously good value. Danu Villas was one of those places that instantly made me say whoa. It’s not trying to be something that it’s not, like a huge five-star resort; instead, it’s a small, stylish, and intimate villa that makes clever use of its space.

For £57.77, I knew I got a great rate. I loved the private pool and open-roof design, plus the fact that you could access it from any angle. It felt private and luxurious without the hefty price tag. It had everything I needed for my stay, plus it was on a remote street, so it was peaceful yet still close to town. That is why Danu Villas ranks number three on my Bali Hotel List. Would I stay again? Absolutely! Don’t need to ask me twice.

NEANO ESCAPE

Area: Manggis (Near Ferry Port for Gili Islands)

Neano Escape Hotel takes the number four spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list, and this one surprised me in the best way. This fantastic 5-star hotel is around 1 hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport and offers beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, and the ultimate chill-out Bali vibes.

It’s a brilliant choice if you’re looking to escape the busier parts of Bali without sacrificing comfort, plus Manggis is a good location to stay if you plan on catching a ferry to the Gili Islands, as it’s nearby. Solo travellers, friends, couples, and families would enjoy this recharging stop.

The Hotel

My room at Neano Escape was comfortable and beautifully presented, with a comfortable bed, a cute bathroom, and a minibar stocked with goodies, which is always a nice little bonus.

I opted for the pool-view room, which has panoramic views over the surrounding forest plantations from the infinity-style pool, which was absolutely stunning. Waking up to these views was just unreal, and the sunsets from this spot were pretty incredible. Although the pool isn’t private (unless you opt for a plunge pool), with views like this, why would you want it to be?

Neano Escape had a really chilled atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly. The on-site restaurant offers a good variety of a la carte dishes, and the food was some of the yummiest I’ve had in all of Bali. Breakfast was tasty and offered plenty of choice too.

Although I stayed in many gorgeous hotels in Bali, Neano Escape was a real winner. It offered everything you could want from a recharging stop, and the room rates made it even more enjoyable.

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Neano Escape is tucked away in Manggus, on Bali’s east coast. It’s around 9km from Padangbai Pier, making it a convenient option if you’re planning to catch a ferry to the Gili Islands or Lombok. Padangbai is one of Bali’s main ferry ports and easily accessible from this hotel. GRAB is easy to use to get around, and the staff are really helpful with anything else during your stay.

Wi-Fi: Good Wi-Fi is available, making Neano Escape a brilliant remote place to stay whilst still staying connected to the internet. It’s perfect for remote workers and people who rely on a reliable connection.

Air Conditioning: Air-con is available in all rooms, which is a definite welcome in Bali’s warm climate. Plus, with access to an infinity pool, I’m sure you’ll spend your days cooling off in it.

Hotel Accessibility: The Neano Escape isn’t the smoothest journey, as it’s quite secluded in a rocky area. There are stairs to climb at this hotel as well. So, if accessibility is important to you, I’d recommend researching more and checking with the hotel directly before booking.

Check-in Time & Rates: Check-in is from 2:30 pm. Hotel prices vary by date and availability, but I paid just £56.27 per night for this luxury!. It was a fantastic stay in Bali, and I highly recommend choosing this hotel; you won’t be disappointed. Check prices for Neano Escape.

My Verdict

9.5. What an absolute bargain for a 5-star piece of luxury. Neano Escape is a real winner, with a combination of stunning views, cleanliness, delicious food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere; I genuinely didn’t want to leave. The only ‘downfall’ would be if you weren’t planning on a ferry trip; the location is a little out there. I’d still make the trip regardless.

And then there’s the price. A 5-star Bali hotel for £56.27 a night, offering all that it does?! That’s exactly why it has earned its place on my boujee-but-affordable list of hotels and villas. If you’re looking for beautiful surroundings to properly switch off, I’d highly recommend adding Neano Escape to your Bali hotel shortlist. Would I stay again? In a heartbeat, this one’s a gem!

SUARA ALAM HOTEL UBUD

Area: Ubud

Suara Alam Hotel Ubud takes the number five spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list. Located around 15 minutes from the centre of Ubud, this beautiful hotel offers a peaceful and intimate escape from the hustle and bustle while still keeping you close enough to enjoy everything Ubud has to offer.

Although it’s often marketed as a couples retreat, I found it equally suitable for solo travellers, mums and daughters, and travelling pairs. From the moment I arrived, I knew I would fall in love with this space. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and showed me around, and I was absolutely in awe.

The Hotel

My room at Suara Alam Hotel was cosy and snug, with everything I needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay on my solo trip to Bali. It included a minibar, slippers, robes, a large TV, air conditioning and even an Alexa, which was fun as it was my first time using one.

The property as a whole has a tranquil atmosphere, making it perfect if you’re looking to escape Ubud’s busier side. You can spend your day lounging on a sunbed, taking a dip in one of the three pools, or relaxing on the hanging nets dotted around the property.

And, if you’ve seen those gorgeous Bali hotel photos all over Instagram, you’ll probably recognise the aesthetic here at Suara Alam Hotel. You can even enjoy a petal photo shoot, which is exactly the sort of experience that makes this stay a little more boujee, and totally unforgettable.

The food at Suara Alam Hotel was another highlight for me. The restaurant doesn’t have an extensive menu but serves incredibly delicious dishes, including chicken wings, Pad Thai, and yummy desserts, at very low prices. The real star for me was the complimentary breakfast, which felt more like an epic brunch than a basic hotel breakfast… just wow!

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Suara Alam Hotel is just 15 minutes from central Ubud, giving you a peaceful setting without being too far from the action. I’d recommend using GRAB to arrange transport if you want to explore Ubud and the surrounding area.

Wi-Fi: Despite being in the lush jungles, Wi-Fi is available, making Suara Alam Hotel the perfect remote place to stay whilst still staying connected to the internet. If you need reliable internet, they sure do deliver.

Air Conditioning: Air-con is available in all rooms, which is a must in Bali. If I remember correctly, you can also tell Alexa to put the air-con on! YAY.

Hotel Accessibility: Suara Alam has multiple areas, pools, and outdoor spaces, so there may be uneven surfaces around the hotel, making it difficult for those with specific accessibility requirements to access. Getting to the hotel itself is pretty simple, but the road leading to it is somewhat narrow and easy to miss.

Check-in Time & Rates: Check-in time is from 3 pm, but I was able to check in at 1 pm. I found that some hotels in Bali will allow you to check in early if your room is ready. Hotel rates vary depending on date and availability, but I bagged a bargain at this hotel for just £56 per night! It’s a beautiful, well-deserved number 5 spot! Check prices for Suara Alam Hotel.

My Verdict

9.3/10. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and breakfast alone is worth the stay. Suara Alam absolutely deserved its place in my top 10. I loved the setting, beautiful surroundings, and the fact that you can completely switch off while being only 15 minutes from central Ubud.

And at £56 per night, it was another stunning find. I’d recommend Suara Alam for a touch of boujee luxury without the huge price tag. Ah man, I really do LOVE Bali; where else are you going to find hotels like this for these rates, hey? Would I stay again? Hm. I’m not sure. I mean, OF COURSE!

AGRAPANA BEACH VILLA

Area: Sukawati (Between Sanur + Ubud)

Agrapana Beach Villa takes the number six spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list. Located around 50 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, between Sanur and Ubud, this beautiful villa offers something that you’ll really appreciate: privacy and peace.

With only around eight villas on-site, Agrapana Beach Villa has a much more intimate feel than a large resort, with attentive staff and the freedom to relax by your own private pool, and, if that’s your thing, even subathe naked in peace! No judgement here… I did it!

It’s particularly suited to couples and solo travellers looking for somewhere quiet and private, or anyone who simply wants a few days away from the crowds; it’s kind of…perfect.

The Villa

The Agrapana Beach Villa was my first stay in Bali on my last solo trip, and what a way to start any trip! The staff were friendly, and I was just amazed at how pretty the villas were. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for your dream holiday to Bali. There’s a bath, shower, air conditioning, and a TV.

But the real highlight is outside (but still inside your villa). Every villa has its own private pool, with some offering direct access from the bedroom straight into the pool, which is exactly the boujee touch I was looking for when booking my first stay of the trip.

The villa also has a private upstairs balcony, where you can take in views across the surrounding stunning rice terraces and towards the nearby black-sand beach, which was pretty cool.

There isn’t much to do on the property itself, but honestly, that’s part of the point. Agrapana Beach Villa is a place where you come to do less and just chill. You can book a spa treatment or arrange a tour through the hotel if you fancy getting out and exploring, though.

The food at Agrapana is delicious, with a good selection of dishes available. Breakfast can be added to your room rate, and if you want to go full Bali boujee, you can even order a floating breakfast to enjoy in your private pool. Honestly, if you’re paying for your own private pool, you might as well eat breakfast in it, right?

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Agrapana Beach Villa is about 50 minutes from the main airport and is located between Sanur and Ubud. It’s a peaceful and relatively secluded location, so I’d recommend using GRAB to arrange transport, or hire a scooter if you’re confident riding one. It’s not difficult to find, but it is a little off the beaten track. There are fewer attractions and restaurants immediately around the property than you’d find in busier parts of Bali.

Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi at Agrapana Beach Villa is pretty good, even though it’s a bit away from the main spots in Bali. As a remote worker, I didn’t have any connection issues, and everything was smooth, so I could work drama-free.

Air Conditioning: Air-con is available in all the villas, although I didn’t need it much, as I could dip into my lovely private pool whenever I was getting too warm in the sun.

Villa Accessibility: The property includes villas with upstairs balconies, but the main floor is pretty flat, so there shouldn’t be any issues if you have specific accessibility requirements. It’s an easy ride to the hotel for most of the way, too.

Check-in Time & Rates: Check-in is from 2 pm. Hotel rates vary by date and availability, but I booked this stunning villa for just £62.61 per night during my stay. My Verdict

9.1/10. Agrapana Beach Villa is the hotel I’d choose when I want to escape everything for a few days. With only a limited number of villas on-site, it felt like the place was mine. I loved that I could sunbathe in peace with absolutely no tan lines, have a swim, enjoy good food, and really get on with the staff there (shout-out to Ed, you legend).

And for £62.61, it’s just amazing what that buys you in Bali (could never be England). The views, the seclusion, the vibes, everything is just right, and that’s exactly why Agrapana Beach Villa has made it into my Top 10 for stays. Would I stay again? YES, YES, YES… and YES.

VILLA LEMBAH DAMAI

Area: Tegalalang (Near Ubud)

Villa Lembah Damai by Pramana Villas takes the number seven spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list. Tucked away in Tegallalang, near Ubud, this stunning property has just six villas, creating a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds.

The property feels wonderfully private without leaving you completely in the middle of nowhere. With beautiful forest views, an infinity pool, in-room massages, and room service, it’s another great example of how you can enjoy a little bit of Bali luxury without spending a fortune.

I saw different types of travellers here at Villa Lembah Damai, from couples to friends to solo travellers. It’s appealing to anyone who appreciates slow mornings and good views, and well, that’s definitely a bit of me!

The Villa

There are six villas in total at Villa Lembah Damai, with four following a similar layout and two offering balconies. I stayed in the Suite with a Garden View, which had a large, comfortable bedroom, air conditioning, a spacious bathroom, and beanbags where you can just sit back and chill.

One of my favourite features was being able to see the infinity pool and forest views from the room. Plus, there’s a treehouse-type balcony overlooking the forest where you can do gym and yoga, which was cool. It gives the whole place a really peaceful, tropical feel.

And if you fancy being properly pampered, Villa Lembah Damai also offers in-room massages and room service, so you don’t even need to leave your villa when all you want to do is chill.

The food here is decent. There’s a good mid-range selection of meals at prices I found lower than average, making it easy to eat at the villa without spending loads. The menu isn’t extensive, but it’s good enough for a short stay.

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Villa Lembah Damai is located in Tegallalang, near Ubud, slightly away from the main centre. This means it’s peaceful and secluded, but you’ll need transport to explore. It’s easy to hire a driver to explore the area’s attractions or rent a scooter. You can book GRAB, but waiting times are longer due to the location.

Wi-Fi: There is Wi-Fi available at Villa Lembah Damai, making it easy to stay connected, use maps, and organise transport during your stay.

Air Conditioning: Air-con is available in all the villas, keeping you comfortable in Bali’s tropical climate. Plus, the stunning views from the infinity pool will make you want to chill there most of the time anyway.

Villa Accessibility: The property is easy to reach, but there are narrow stairs and uneven terrain to and from the reception. I’d recommend checking with the property before booking, as it may not be suitable.

Check-in Time & Rates: Check-in times are typically from 2 pm. Room rates vary by date and availability, but I found this hotel at an exceptional rate of just £43.49 per night! It was the cheapest stay of my month-long visit, but it didn’t give off cheap vibes at all. What an absolute steal! Check prices for Villa Lembah Damai.

My Verdict

9/10. All the villas and hotels in Bali made me say wow, but I really couldn’t believe Villa Lembah Damai was only £43.49 a night and served boujee. I was a little sceptical about the villa when I first booked, just because of the rate, but it exceeded all my expectations, and then some. It felt much more expensive than what I actually paid.

It’s not the best choice if you want to walk straight out of your accomodation into Ubud’s restaurants and nightlife, but if you’re happy to stay a little bit out of town, the location gives you a lovely balance of seclusion and access to Tegallalang’s attractions.

Villa Lembah Damai deserves making it to my Top 10 list, no doubt. For such low rates and a classy stay, it would be rude not to. Would I stay again? I’ll be back again for sure, mark my words!

GREEN FIELD RESORT UBUD

Area: Ubud

Green Field Resort takes the number eight spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list. Located in Ubud, this beautiful resort offers a great choice of accomodation, a large swimming pool and plenty of facilities, while still giving you that peaceful Bali atmosphere.

There are several room types to choose from at the Green Field Resort, including Deluxe Rooms, Suites, Junior Suites, and one-and two-bedroom Signature Villas, so there’s something for different types of travellers and budgets.

When I arrived, I was greeted with a delicious red tea drink before being shown to my room. I chose the Junior Suite Pool View, overlooking the pool and surrounding paddy fields, and it was honestly stunning.

The Resort

I stayed in the Junior Suite Pool View room at Green Field Resort, and it was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The room featured a private balcony overlooking the pool and paddy fields, along with a comfortable sofa, a TV, and a lovely bathtub, which was a nice place to relax and soak in after a long day exploring Ubud.

One of my favourite things about Green Field Resort was the massage service. I’ve had massages at numerous places throughout Bali during my one-month trip, and this was my favourite hotel for it. I recommend treating yourself to one while you’re here.

Breakfast is included in the room rate, and the resort serves a delicious buffet with plenty of choice. There’s also an a la carte menu if you fancy something different, with room service available. The food here was one of my favourite dining experiences in Bali. However, there are many food spots available nearby too.

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Green Field Resort is located in Ubud, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. It’s a popular area with plenty of shops and attractions. You’ll want to use GRAB or book a tour to get around, particularly if you’re visiting attractions further afield.

Wi-Fi: There is Wi-Fi available at Green Field Resort. I found no issues using it (apart from when there was a storm). Other than that, it worked well and was super fast, too.

Air Conditioning: Air-con is available in all the rooms at Green Field Resort, perfect for when you need to escape the heat and humidity that Bali brings.

Resort Accessibility: The resort is easy to find, with a smooth drive and no rocky roads along the way. There are a few stairs, but spacious ground-floor rooms are available. Check with the hotel for any mobility-specific queries.

Check-in Time & Rates: Check-in is at 2 pm, but the hotel will allow an earlier check-in if a room is available. Rates for rooms depend on date, season and availability, but for this spacious, stunning room, I paid £55.18 per night. I thought this was a fantastic rate, especially for the popular location. My Verdict

8.9/10. Deserves a good rating for its great food, gorgeous views, and spa services. Green Field Resort exceeded my expectations; after all the villa stays, I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it as much. But I did; it was beautiful, the vibes were nice, and I made some good memories there.

For £55.18 per night in Ubud, I thought the Junior Suite was excellent value. It was huge and felt traditional, and I literally had nothing to complain about; that’s why it deserved a spot on my Top 10 list of stays in Bali. Would I stay again? Yes! For the massage alone, I’ll be coming back!

DELTA CASA UBUD – TINY VILLAS IN BALI’S JUNGLE

Area: Ubud

Delta Casa Villa takes the number nine spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list. Tucked away in the Ubud Jungle, this beautifully designed accomodation offers just six villas, making it one of the most peaceful and private retreats on my list.

If you’re looking for somewhere to completely switch off, a retreat to relax, and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, Delta Casa Villa certainly delivers. It’s remote, quiet, and tucked away down a dead-end road (although that does mean it can be a little tricky to find, but totally worth it).

The Villa

When I arrived at Casa Delta Villa, I was in love with the place’s design! It was modern, peaceful, and I just loved the vibes. When I stayed, there were only three villas on the property, but they’ve renovated since, and now there are six gorgeous villas offering privacy and tranquillity as part of the experience. Some rooms even feature views of two volcanoes, which look incredible at sunrise.

Inside the rooms of Delta Casa Villa, you’ll find kitchen appliances, a large TV with Netflix, a cute, classy bathroom, and plenty of information about the surrounding area. Depending on the villa you’ve booked, you’ll also have some really quirky stairs leading up to the sleeping area, which adds to the unique character of the accomodation.

I spent just two nights here, and for a short stay, I thought it was lovely. There’s not a huge amount to do on-site, but that’s really the point. You can relax in your villa, take a dip in the small natural pool, and enjoy the fire pit area in the evening.

Breakfast is included in the room rate, although when I stayed, the choice was fairly limited compared with some of the other hotels on my list. The restaurant, which also served food, closed at 5 pm, so ordering from GRAB was key. However, Delta Casa Villa has renovated since then, and it seems food options may be different and easier now.

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Delta Casa Villa is in a very secluded part of Ubud, down a dead-end road and surrounded by beautiful jungle. It can be a little difficult to find, so I’d recommend having your taxi or driver drop you directly at the property and calling the hotel to arrange pickup outside rather than trying to navigate there yourself. Ordering taxis may require longer wait times due to the location, and you’ll need one to explore the surrounding area.

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available at Casa Delta Villa, and you’ll need it to order taxis and food. I found the Wi-Fi fast and issue-free.

Air Conditioning: Although the villa has air conditioning, I personally didn’t find it powerful enough to properly cool the room. I found it quite warm and stuffy at times, which did make sleeping less comfortable. However, the company has renovated the villas since then, and based on research and reviews, I don’t see any indication that this is an ongoing issue anymore.

Villa Accessibility: The property is secluded, and the villas have some unusual layouts, including stairs leading to sleeping areas in certain room types. If you have any mobility issues, I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend staying at Delta Casa Villa.

My Verdict

8.8/10. I genuinely loved my stay at Delta Casa Villa. With only three villas at the time, it felt incredibly quiet and private, and the jungle setting made it feel like a little hidden escape from the rest of Bali. The villa itself is beautifully designed, plus it looked fantastic on the socials.

And for £58.96 a night, this stunning retreat is perfect for a short stay. I thought it was quirky enough to be a gem, which is why it deserved a spot on my Top 10 stays list. Would I stay again? 100%, but only for a night or two to recharge; that is what Delta Casa Villa is best for!

PINK PRIVATE SANUR HOTEL – FOR COOL ADULTS

Area: Sanur

Last, but certainly not least (we can’t all be number one!), Pink Private Sanur Hotel takes the number-ten spot on my Top 10 Boujee Bali Hotels & Villas for Under £65 list.

This adorable and fun 4-star boutique hotel offers something a little different from the other stays on the list: it’s pink, playful and completely unique. Located in Sanur, it’s also in a really convenient spot if you’re planning to catch a ferry to one of Bali’s nearby islands.

With a seriously cute aesthetic, the Pink Private Sanur Hotel is a great choice if you want somewhere memorable to stay, especially if, like me, you appreciate a bit of pink! (Don’t judge, I’m just a girl :). It’s particularly suited to solo travellers, couples, friends, and mum-daughters looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

The Hotel

One of the fun things about Pink Private Sanur Hotel is that the rooms aren’t all identical, so each one has its own character. Inside, you’ll find a large bed, air conditioning, a semi-open bathroom and your own outdoor porch, giving you a lovely little space to sit outside and enjoy your surroundings.

The whole hotel has a really fun, colourful atmosphere while still feeling peaceful enough to properly recharge. It feels more like an experience than simply somewhere to sleep, and I always say that where you stay is important. It’s a big factor in making or breaking your trip.

And the pink theme doesn’t stop at the hotel; you can even use the property’s free pink bicycles to explore the surrounding area. It’s pink, it’s pretty, and it’s totally a bit of me.

A delicious breakfast can be arranged during your stay, but there aren’t other dining options available at the hotel. Luckily, you’re in Sanur, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. You can also use the GRAB app here for food and transport.

Good To Know Before You Book

Location & Transport: Pink Private Sanur Hotel is located in Sanur, making it a great base for exploring and for onward travel to nearby islands, including Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan, by ferry from Sanur Port, located just 8.5km away. GRAB is easy to use in Sanur, so getting around won’t be an issue, plus you have free use of the cool pink bicycles.

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available at Pink Private Sanur Hotel, and I didn’t have any issues with it.

Air Conditioning: All the rooms have air conditioning, which is super handy in Bali. Plus, there’s a shared pool in the centre of the hotel for you to cool down in.

Villa Accessibility: The hotel offers various room layouts and outdoor areas all on ground level, but it is a pretty cosy and compact setup. I’d recommend checking with the hotel before booking if you have specific mobility requirements. Getting to the hotel is a smooth and easy ride from the airport.

My Verdict

8.5/10. It’s cute, quirky, and a great way to finish the list. Pink Private Sanur Hotel is definitely a unique hotel I’ve stayed in Bali. It’s not trying to be a huge luxury hotel; instead, it’s a fun, boutique stay with loads of personality. The friendly staff, the comfortable rooms, and the little extras like the free pink bikes and the little gifts they gave me throughout my stay were a nice touch.

At £53.93 a night, I thought it was a really good-value stay and a worthy final entry in my Top 10 affordable Bali stays list. If you’re looking for a colourful stay, the Pink Private Sanur Hotel is it. Would I stay again? YEAH, especially if I was heading off to one of the nearby islands afterwards; it’s the perfect good-vibes hotel I look for when away.

And there we have it, my Top 10 Boujee Hotels & Villas in Bali for Under £65. I’ve travelled to Bali a few times, but my last one-month trip there was just unreal, with so many different villas and hotels. I was blown away by just how much luxury you can get without spending hundreds of pounds a night. From private infinity pools and jungle views to incredible breakfasts and spa treatments, Bali really makes you feel like a king or queen without splashing the cash.

I absolutely love a boujee holiday without the boujee price tag. My number one, Capung Asri Eco Luxury Resort, still remains my favourite hotel I’ve stayed in across 44 countries. My search for my ultimate favourite still continues, but honestly, it’s hard to beat something this gorgeous at that price.

So, if you’re planning your own Bali adventure, don’t automatically assume you need to spend a fortune to get that luxury experience. It’s out there; you just have to know where to look. You might just find your own little slice of paradise somewhere else for a fraction of the price.
