Best Mui Ne Tours & Activities

Sand Dunes & Fairy Stream

The best tour in Mui Ne is a Sand Dunes & Fairy Stream Tour. Your adventure starts in a 4×4 jeep before dawn (if you select the earlier time) as you head to the White Sand Dunes. Here, you can take an ATV to the top of the dunes to witness a breathtaking sunrise—think golden light stretching over endless waves of sand.

Next, it’s time for some adrenaline at the Red Sand Dunes, where you can sandboard down the slopes, soak in the stunning desert-like landscaping, and take lots of cool pics – as we did!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! You’ll also visit the Mui Ne fishing village, where you’ll glimpse daily coastal life and see colourful boats dotting the shore. You’ll see locals doing their thing as the tourists take pictures and watch.

The views are pretty cool. However, it wasn’t my tour highlight as some rubbish was on the shores. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this little stop and again had more photo opportunities.

The final stop on the Sand Dune & Fairystream Tour is a walk through the Fairy Stream, a hidden gem with vibrant red and orange rock formations and shallow waters perfect for cooling off.

Just a heads up, walking through with bare feet is a bit rocky, and in some spots, it’s a little deeper. I saw a few people fall, but it was not as challenging as it sounds—elderly people and kids were walking through the Fairy Stream.
