I climbed Mount Maunganui—it’s well worth it! You’ll find a range of accommodations, from hotels to homestays, here. My favourite in the Bay of Islands is The Reef Beachfront Apartments. It’s located on a beachfront and has such a vibe; what a gorgeous place to stay.

Ahuriri. Located in Napier, Ahuriri is known for its stylish restaurants, boutique shops, and beautiful harbour views. It is a trendy and vibrant seaside suburb. Napier’s waterfront suburbs are a delight with a mix of historic and modern elements. Ahuriri features a marina, trendy cafes, and scenic walking paths along the shoreline. You’ll find boutique lodges, waterfront hotels, and self-contained apartments for an enjoyable stay in Napier. I love the Vue Apartment; it’s a dope place to stay with a boujee interior.
