Tunisia Language & Currency
Language: Arabic is the official language in Tunisia. Tunisian Arabic is heard in everyday conversations, while Modern Standard Arabic is used for official matters and education. In addition, many people speak French and English, especially in business, government, and tourism.
Currency: The currency here is the Tunisian Dinar (TND). It’s a good idea to have some cash on you when shopping away from your hotel, as not all places take bank cards. TND will be handy for small businesses and taxis.

La Marsa. This coastal suburb offers a mix of beachside charm and cultural attractions. It is close to cultural sites like the Carthage Ruins and the Roman amphitheatre, making it a great location to stay. From La Marsa, you can explore the picturesque La Marsa Beach and enjoy seaside cafes and restaurants.

Recommends: Le Sultan is a 4-star hotel with two swimming pools, a spa, and a wellness centre. With restaurants and 5 bars on site, Le Sultan is the perfect place to unwind after exploring.
