When’s The Best Time To Visit The Caribbean

Generally, the high season runs from mid-December to mid-April. During this season, expect dry and sunny weather with minimal rainfall. On the downside, this period is also the busiest and most expensive, with peak tourist crowds.

If you prefer to avoid the crowds and save some money, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons. These seasons are between April and June and early fall, September to November. During the off-season, you’ll benefit from fewer tourists, discounted hotel rates, and a more laid-back experience.

Also, note that the Caribbean is prone to hurricanes from June to November, more so between August and October. While the risk of encountering a hurricane is relatively low, monitor weather forecasts and consider travel insurance if you plan to travel. Additionally, solo travellers should update friends or family on their whereabouts.
